The Namibia Qualifications Authority (NQA) is currently conducting a two-day institutional audit visit at the Namibian College of Open Learning (NAMCOL) from 28 to 29 October 2025.The audit include a tour of NAMCOL’s facilities, engagements with management, students, and academic staff, as well as interviews with administrative personnel. The sessions will be held in the Staff Boardroom from 08h30- 16h30 for the two days.
Ms. Lise-Lothe Ngeama, the Quality Assurance Officer responsible for spearheading the accreditation application process within the Research, Development and Quality Assurance sub-Division, said that the visit is related to the expansion of scope in one programme, Bachelor of Education in Junior Primary Education Honours Programme, offered through the Tertiary Programmes (TP). The NQA audit team, comprised of three personnel and is headed by the Lead Auditor Mr. Salomo Shipopyeni.
