NAMCOL Celebrates 24th Spring Graduation

Windhoek, Namibia – July 18, 2025

The Namibian College of Open Learning (NAMCOL) held its second graduation ceremony of the 2025 academic year, conferring and celebrating the achievements of 197 graduates. The event took place at the Jetu Jama Centre in Windhoek on the 18th September 2025 and was officiated by the
Chairperson of the NAMCOL Board of Directors, Mr. Tonata Uwanga.

The graduates included 172 students from Tertiary Programmes (TP) and 25 trainees from Technical, Vocational Education and Training (TVET).

Three top-performing graduates were honored for their outstanding academic achievements, each receiving a voucher valued at N$2,000.

  • Martha Aluuma was the top TVET graduate, scoring an impressive 96% in Office Administration Level 3.
  • Sherene Du Plessis was recognized as a top TP graduate with a score of 83%.
  • Ndinelago Ndasiluahenda Titus was also a top TP graduate, achieving a score of 77.8%.

The keynote address was delivered by the Deputy Minister of Education, Innovation, Youth, Sport, Arts and Culture, Hon. Dino Ballotti. The graduates were also motivated by Mr. Petrus Shifotoka, a Deputy Director from the Bank of Namibia.
