NAMCOL is a distance educational institution that offers secondary, tertiary and vocational via distance and face-to-face modes of delivery. With the COVID – 19 pandemic, and the subsequent lockdown, it transpired that many of our secondary learners are not fully aware of their responsibilities and that of the institution concerning their studies.
NAMCOL, as a distance educational institution offers the following to our Grade 12 learners.
- Orientation workshop after enrolment to guide learners on how to study through NAMCOL.
- A full set of selff-explanatory study materials (Modules) for each subject
- Block Tuition classes for five weeks in a year
- Learner and study support materials, online through Notesmaster Namibia, Moodle, as well as linkages to other online study materials. Paper based materials such as Booklets are available at our Bookshops in Windhoek, Rundu, Ongwediva and Otjiwarongo.
It is of utmost importance that learners study on their own and only use the Block Tuition sessions to fill in gaps where they do not fully comprehend but not to be taught the whole subject content as set out in the curriculum. Learners are further encouraged to form study groups to learn from and assist one another as this makes studying easier
